We would like to inform you that our Consular Office shall resume its service from 2020 June 3rd.
All appointments have to be secured at https://konzinfobooking.mfa.gov.hu. Please be advised that all services are not avaible yet, and there are extra precautions and conditions that need be met before a visit. Please find the detailed information as follows.
Please be advised that current safety regulations require of all attendants and guests that face masks be worn at all times upon entering the building. Failure to comply will result in entry denial. Face masks must be worn in the consular waiting room at all times too. During the in-person visit only the applicants can enter the waiting room. In order to facilitate possible contact tracing, the name, the last 4 digits of Singaporean ID number as well as phone number must be provided. We appreciate your patience and understanding on the matter. Please stay healthy and stay well!
Based on the latest mandate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade the following services will be available:
Registration of birth and passport application of a child, application for maternal support after giving birth
Registration of marriage
Passport and Hungarian ID Card applications in the following cases only:
- applicants whose passport or ID card has expired no earlier than 3 months prior, or it is set to expire in the following month
- applications of children
Visa applications are accepted exclusively for short term stay, Type „C” Schengen visa (up to 90 days within a 6 month period) under the following circumstances:
- travels of national interest - tangent to economic infrastructure, machinery and assembly lines, operation and maintenance
- crisis management and prevention persons, including doctors, researchers
- special circumstances/cases (death, family sickness, other vis maior cases) that require pre-qualification and approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade
- transit visa applications (home bound transiting through Hungary, third-country nationals requiring visa)
- family members of EEA nationals
We would like to draw applicants' attention to the fact that finding information and complying with rules of the transit countries during air travel is exclusively the applicants' duty and responsibility.
